WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR 2012 & BEYOND?
I am excited about being able to compete in two classes in 2012, the big wheel KTM 85 and the KTM 150. My fitness and strength is something I am working on to prepare for the bigger bike. In 2011 I didn't quite get all the results I had aimed for, so I will be working hard to improve in the major events I will be competing in being the Australian Junior Motocross Championships, Queensland Motocross Championships and the Sunshine State Motocross Series. I would also relish the opportunity to represent Australia again.
FAVORITE MUSIC: Bliss n Eso
FAVORITE TV SHOW (S): The Big Bang Theory & Two and a Half Men
FAVORITE FOOD (S): Porridge and Eye Fillet Steak with Worstershire Sauce!
FAVORITE TRACK (S): Lake Macquarie - NSW, Pukekohe - NZ and Ayr - North Queensland
FAVORITE RIDER (S): Ryan Dungey, Brett Metcalfe and Chad Reed
GREATEST RACING ACHIEVEMENT (S): 6th Place on the 65cc at the World Junior MX Championships and my 1st Place on the SW 85 at the Aussies.
WORST RACING MOMENT: I don't have one from an actual race - My worst motocross related moment was opening the ADB to read the write up about the World Junior Motocross Championships and seeing the gaping hole in my pants because my zip in my nylons was busted!
WHO OR WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR GREATEST INSPIRATION? My Family - they have taught me to make the most of every opportunity and that all I need is ‘enough' - Self Belief, Guidance, Support, Encouragement, Fuel, Food etc. If I have ‘enough' - anything is possible!
HOW DO YOU TRAIN FOR RACING? On the bike I train with my brother Richie and Cousin Jackson, usually at one of my uncle's tracks. Off the bike I do boxing, push bike riding, running, swimming, transformx, and do some stretching and circuit training/exercises. I enjoy water skiing for cross training.
WHAT OTHER SPORTS / ACTIVITIES DO YOU ENJOY? I love water skiing and wake boarding, riding my pushy at the skate park, fishing/crabbing and doing drifts in our bomber around the paddock.
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS? I would like to be racing the best in the World, hopefully with the support of my family or a good woman!
